SUMMARY

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with planning, organizing, and directing operations related to ongoing projects in the company. They perform project-related tasks as required and they also provide administrative and clerical support.

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft office products.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and knowledge of basic estimating software such as Bluebeam and Accubid.

TRAVEL

This position requires 75% work on direct job sites; providing 25% remote work.

Essential Job Functions
  • Maintain, organize, be informed of SharePoint regarding job folders.
  • Research vendors in area that work is to be performed.
  • Support with closing punch list.
  • Continually build, develop, and grow vendor, sub-contractor, and field personnel relationships
  • Help build, support, and coordinate scheduled construction activities with team members.
  • Coordinate change order management process
  • Create/maintain/coordinate/review/send for approval all drawings, project submittals, RFI’s,and project support documentation.
  • Project update reports, proposals, daily logs, meeting agendas, requests for information and miscellaneous.
  • Provide field coordination support between design intent of drawings/specifications/contract versus actual installation methods.
  • Assist with capturing project photos, executed from start to finish.
  • Assist with WIP updates throughout the month.
  • Support PM with Customer specific project management software utilization (e.g., Procore)
  • Working closely with PM to meet deadlines such as the following:
    • Quoting buyouts/gear/packages.
    • Requests for Change.
    • Project Schedule support.
    • WIP
  • Assist in project proposal submissions and follow-up.
  • Vendor Maintenance and Relations.
  • Field Purchasing as requested by project leadership.
  • Quote material.
  • Assist in managing execution of project subcontracts and change orders including being the liaison between vendor & InPwr.
  • Project QA/QC efforts
  • Asbuilt coordination.
  • Material requests. Supervise and manage coordination (receiving from vendors & uploading to internal/external databases) of the following:
    • Manufacturer submittal documentation.
    • Operation and Maintenance documentation.
    • Other job duties as assigned based on the changing needs of the business.

Working/ Environment/ Physical Demands

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
