We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role provides physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Implement selected components of patient interventions (treatment), obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications either to progress the patient as directed by the physical therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort
  • Provide quality physical therapy services including implementation of the treatment plan established by the patient's physical therapist
  • Produce accurate, relevant, and timely documentation based on the physical therapist's prescribed course of treatment
  • Communicate the patient's treatment progression, changes of treatment, and recommended medical follow up when necessary to team members, as appropriate.
  • Educate and counsel patients regarding issues related to treatment and goal(s), safety risks, and/or other issues within scope of practice
  • Participate in team reassessments and discharge planning
  • Other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • AA or higher degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an institution accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
  • Current State Physical Therapist Assistant License
  • Current CPR certification
