Job Description:


Reporting to the Director IT & Sustainability, this individual will be responsible for the oversight of all major technology systems and service vendors interactions for North America. Their objective will be to optimize service delivery and cost effectiveness of technology for a rapidly-growing North American network of early learning centers and corporate offices. We are looking for a forward-thinking, cost-savvy technology professional with 5 years progressive technology and business experience. This individual will have earned a reputation for delivering on commitments and exceeding expectations, through strong business acumen, ability to influence and drive to succeed.

Role:

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of multiple MSP vendors, focusing on vendor execution of implemented systems and policies to business requirements/scope while optimizing costs and driving consistency of their service to internal clients.
  • Act as a liaison for MSP’s with our business teams and oversee compliance and auditing to Busy Bees Global standards
  • Develop reporting on technology to highlight business trends and issues
  • Establish controls on technology procurement to help drive consistency of platforms and cost efficiency.
  • Support development of technology roadmap to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure appropriate IT disaster recovery plans in place.
  • Supports private intranet and SharePoint sites as part of a greater strategy in Principle of Least Privilege.

Education/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology or related field, with 5+ years of experience in technology systems oversight (Less but varied experience acceptable)
  • Experience with technology vendor/MSP selection and interactions

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong organizational and office technology skills.

  • Proficient in IT systems terminology, and adept at security protocols
