Description

SAIC is seeking an IT System Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimizes information technology systems that support business operations.  This role bridges technology and business by ensure system reliability, data integrity, security, and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and business applications
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage data integration, reporting tools, and database systems to support decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery planning, and technology projects
  • Review technical documentation, procedures, and user training materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelors and 0 years related experience; OR 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Clearance not required to start, but must be able to obtain a Secret level clearance once hired
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Develop and institute systems, planners, trackers, processes, and procedures
  • Ability to create & navigate Purchase and Change Orders
  • Review & submit financial reports; prepare financial projections and program funding requests
  • Manage project budget, spending, and summarize projected expenditures
  • Approve procurement requests and support development of Cost Volume Proposals
