About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Madison, WI. This is not a traditional high-volume call center position. In this role, you'll support customers and sales representatives by processing custom orders, providing quotations, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal teams including Engineering and Warehouse Operations.

New hires will begin as Order Processing Representatives, gaining hands-on experience with our systems, products, and processes while receiving extensive training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning technical products, and providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and enter customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Provide sales support to customers and outside sales representatives
  • Prepare quotes and assist with order management activities
  • Expedite orders and coordinate updates with customers
  • Troubleshoot customer concerns and resolve service-related issues
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Warehouse, and other internal departments
  • Maintain detailed customer records in SAP and other business systems
  • Communicate professionally via phone, email, and internal platforms
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service, order entry, or related experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to learn technical products and apply analytical thinking
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
