Position Summary: HII: Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in US Army Ground Vehicle Programs. This role is responsible for providing overall program oversight, coordinating program requirements, management of personnel, and ensuring proper resource allocation to meet all technical objectives. The Program Manager will oversee and manage multiple concurrent tasks across various work locations, along with developing and pursuing program growth and adjacent opportunities and technical proposals.

This position is located on site in Warren, MI with hybrid working options. Come support our work with the US Army's Ground Vehicle System Center and join a world class team of groundbreaking scientists and engineers! Details Below!

What you will do Responsible for the profit and loss of a large complex program. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors.

Responsible for overseeing a program contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to program. Program may require new technologies and use of AI. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.

Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands services with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

Directs the work of employees including management level assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. What we are looking for: Minimum Qualifications Must have 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in Engineering or Project Management; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience. Must have current PMP certification from PMI or acquire certification prior to employment.

Knowledge of Federal Acquisition (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to provide direction to subordinates including management level employees using established policies and precedents.

Ability to develop solutions to complex problems that require regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Ability to identify opportunities for growth or value enhancement to accelerate customer satisfaction. Full working knowledge of procedures and practices.

Ability to make decisions relating to program, customer requirements, and employees working on program. Ability to make decisions on behalf of the company in accordance with company policies. Active Secret Security Clearance is required at the time of hire Preferred Requirements Experience developing, maintaining, and managing government required contract deliverables.

Experience with DoW Ground Vehicle programs; acquisition, management, sustainment. Experience managing or supporting US Army Program Executive Office and/or Program of Record Management Experience planning, deploying, and recovering contact or support teams as directed by the Government. Experience in rapid acquisition and prototyping to meet emergent requirements.

Physical Requirements Work at HII facility with requirement to visit customer site in an industrial environment on a nearly daily basis. There will be 10 - 20% Periodic travel in support of customer directed requirements.
