Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is accountable for the overall successful execution of bus programs with our customers. Accountable for ensuring all Contracts are managed efficiently and effectively through the Managers of Customer Programs and the Customer Program Management Team, including all contract deliverables.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop department annual operating plan and expense budget
  • Develop MBO’s that support the AOP that form the MBO’s for the entire Customer Programs Team
  • Monitor MBO objectives and drive results throughout the year
  • Ensure robust and effective processes are in place and are reviewed and updated as necessary
  • Ensure responsibility and accountability for the Managers of Customer Programs and their teams are in place and clear
  • Ensure that all tools used by the Team to manage Programs are in place and are effective
  • Maintain reporting for all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly requirements; monitor issues and become involved when necessary
  • Develop solid relationships with customers, ensuring alignment with Customer and customer strategies
  • Strong working relationship with internal customers and support functions
  • Lead the Customer Programs Team in training and development, staff planning, succession planning; planning and identifying resources required to achieve goals on time and on budget
  • Responsible for the completion of Manager and staff employee performance reviews (EPR’s), and ensuring the department reviews are completed on time
  • Responsible to ensure all key controls (ICFR Internal Controls) identified under this area of responsibility are designed and operating as outlined in the internal controls over Financial Reporting
  • Ensure policies and processes are established and adhered to, to ensure goals and objectives for all regulatory and legal requirements are met, including organizational Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Programs
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Business Administration or Communications
  • PMP Structured Training / Certification
  • 4+ years of hands-on Project Management experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on Contract Management experience
  • Full product knowledge
  • Clear understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes would be considered an asset
  • Proven Leadership ability
  • Proficiency with MS Project
  • Professional maturity and sound judgement with strong decision-making ability
  • Planning, organization and time management
  • Problem solving and prioritization
  • Clear communication
  • Up to 50% travel time may be required

Annual Salary Range:

$125,000 - $200,000
