Responsibilities
Responsible for driving Johnstone Supply NJ's customer sales program initiatives and work within sales operations team to implement all sales and marketing programs, solutions and enhancing the customer communication experience essential for the growth of the company. You'll also work closely with individuals at all different levels of the company to support a collaborative vision in the marketplace and execute that vision. As a fast-growing business, the challenge will be communicating and executing revolutionary programs to support and engage our customers.
Essential Job Functions:
Assisting in implementing and executing all sales and marketing programs, solutions and
enhancing the customer communication experience, ensuring the growth of the company.
• Providing administrative support as well as performing research, customer follow-up,
creating reports and maintaining spreadsheets to deliver insights and information regarding
markets, competitors, customers and effectiveness of campaigns and programs, in support
of business decisions and ROI.
• Processing and managing submissions, applications and documentation for company
programs and activities.
• Provide logistical planning assistance.
• Make recommendations and ensure clear execution of internal company communications,
including newsletters, memorandums, and documents to all branch team members within
the region.
• Participating in the development and execution of showroom merchandising strategies.
• Contributing to proofreading and communicating marketing materials including but not
limited to emails, presentations, newsletters, and collateral.
• Provide intelligence gathered within the market to support market research for determining
brand perceptions, understanding customer needs, evaluating market penetration and
analyzing competitors.
Internal Relationships:
Work closely with members of the marketing, counter sales, inside and outside sales teams.
Final Decision Maker:
Works independently within internal process and seeks appropriate approval from Marketing
Manager.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Education, Work Experience & Specialized Skills or Knowledge:
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, communications or related
field/experience, with 1-2 years of applicable experience in marketing, account
management or a business support function.
• Familiarity with the HVAC industry and products preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with the operation of Microsoft software and able to work with the MS Office
Suite, reporting software, business intelligence, web analytics tools. Experience with ERP
software, a plus.
• Excellent English language and grammar, with proven written and verbal communication
skills.
• You're focused, disciplined and super organized with high level of personal enthusiasm
and self-motivation.
• You're able to maintain momentum on our big picture goals and projects and also jump
into day to day tasks.
