JOB MISSION

As a Production Associate, you will transformour raw materials into world class footwearwith astrongfocus on safety and quality.You willperform various machine operations that bring our shoes to life.Work is performed in a team environment - focused on safety,qualityand productivity standards towards meeting customer demands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize various tools and machinery to perform your work according to established procedures and processes
  • Willingness to support a changing environment, flexibility to cross train and rotate to various jobs and duties to achieving departmental and business goals. Make suggestions to improve the process and display motivation and initiative to improve skills and job knowledge.
  • Support NB quality expectations/standards and take ownership for meeting them. Ensure work quality before passing onto customers.
  • Follow NB policies anddemonstrateresponsibility for attendance, safety requirements,PPEand reporting of accidents and near misses.
  • Maintaina high levelof quality per our internal & external customer requirements

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

  • Ability to read,understandand comprehendwritten ororal instruction and communicate effectively with others. Must be a team player!
  • Requires hand and eye coordination along with depth perception (layered materials), good peripheral vision, ability to see incoming /outgoingworkstations and precision work -clear visionas close as 11 inches for tasks.
  • Standard 40-hour workweek applies; willing to adjust work schedule to meet a reasonable amount of overtime based on business need
  • Good manual dexterity skills (eye,handandfeetcoordination).
  • Must be able to perform repetitive upper extremity motions and repetitive forceful grip/pinch requiring both hands, frequent reaching,goodrange of motion of fingers, hands, wrists and elbowsand use of foot pedals on some machines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production line environment (building 600pairof shoes in an 8-hour shift) while completing a variety of processes safely with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Use of personal protective equipment isrequired.
  • Ability to lift light to moderate amounts of weight.
  • 0-2 years of experience
Norway, ME Manufacturing Only Pay Range: $16.95 - $21.20 - $25.40 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
