Who We're looking for

Copa Health is seeking a multi-tasking, organized Program Assistant to join our fast pace, office setting healthcare team. The Program Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to an assigned location or program. The Program Assistant acts as a receptionist, assists in check-in, check-out, scheduling and confirming appointments, and ensures proper filing of clinical documentation in the electronic health record. The Program Assistant also provides direct care services as needed and directed by program leadership.

 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Work with site leadership to review, monitor, and correction of department notes including, time overlap reports and templates with no documentation report.
  • Responsible for collecting and reviewing transportation logs for company vehicles and transportation trackers
  • May assist with co-facilitation of groups when needed.
  • Collects, monitors, scans, and enters data/information into the electronic health records or as assigned. 
  • Requests updated documents as needed for the electronic health records.
  • As receptionist greets, receives, and ensure sign in sheets are signed.
  • Support the growth of the program by covering and assisting with referrals scheduling and scanning documents into files
Qualifications
    • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
    • Minimum HS Diploma/GED and two (2) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting.
    • Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire.
    • Must have reliable transportation, valid AZ Driver’s License with state minimum insurance coverage 
    • TB Test clearance required at the time of hire
