Equinox Engineering Ltd. is a Calgary-based EPCM firm and a recognized leader in oil and gas facility design. We deliver engineering solutions across natural gas, conventional oil, heavy oil, SAGD, and pipeline projects for many of the largest producers in Canada and internationally.

The Workshare Coordinator supports the successful execution of multi-office engineering projects by coordinating workshare activities across Home Office and Support Offices. This role works closely with Project Managers, Department Managers, Discipline Leads, and global project teams to facilitate communication, monitor progress, and support efficient project delivery.

As a Workshare Coordinator, you will support project teams by assisting with coordination, communication, and tracking of workshare activities.

Workshare Coordination & Project Support
  • Collaborate engineering and design activities between Home Office and Support Offices to support effective project execution.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of workshare plans, tools, and tracking systems.
  • Serve as a focal point for workshare-related activities under the guidance of Project Managers/ Engineers and Discipline Leads.
Technical Interface & Documentation
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary communication to ensure timely and accurate information flow between project teams and offices.ย 
  • Ensure compliance with established workflows, communication protocols, and project procedures
Schedule, Quality & Reporting
  • Prepare workshare status reports, progress updates, meeting minutes, and coordination summaries.
  • Support adherence to internal project execution plans, quality standards, and company procedures
  • Assist in monitoring engineering progress against project schedules, budgets, and deliverable targets.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Department Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Discipline Leads, and Support Office team.ย 
  • Participate in project and discipline coordination meetings as required.ย 
  • Foster effective collaboration within multicultural and geographically distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Engineering degreeย 
  • 5-15 years of experience within an EPCM or engineering consulting environment.ย 
  • Previous experience in project engineering, engineering coordination, or project support roles
  • Experience with workshare or multi-office project execution is preferred.ย 
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.ย 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multicultural and geographically dispersed teams.
