Position Summary: The Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) provides on-site support services to residents of CHN's multi-family properties. The RSC builds relationships with residents and fosters community and resident networks within assigned buildings. Additionally, the RSC assesses individual needs (health and wellness, housekeeping, housing stability, etc....), provides guidance and support, and refers and connects residents to programs and resources they may benefit from.
The RSC is also responsible for furthering resident engagement and building community at their assigned buildings by planning and/or hosting enrichment activities and workshops. This often requires alternative work availability, including evenings and weekends, to meet program goals and the needs of our residents.
The rate of pay for this position is $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience (FLSA Non-Exempt)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Resident Support & Service Coordination
  • Educate residents on lease expectations and available community resources.
  • Conduct resident assessments to identify housing, financial, wellness, and supportive service needs.
  • Connect residents with community agencies and follow up on referrals and service outcomes.
  • Maintain relationships with local service providers and community partners.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents and property management staff.

Resident Engagement & Programming
  • Assist with resident events, workshops, and engagement activities across assigned properties.
  • Support resident leadership initiatives and community-building efforts.
  • Coordinate or assist with youth, family, and senior programming, where applicable.
  • Collaborate with community organizations to enhance resident services and programming.

Property & Program Support
  • Support day-to-day resident service operations within assigned buildings.
  • Partner with property management staff regarding resident concerns, building operations, and support needs.
  • Maintain accurate resident records, case notes, and service documentation.
  • Participate in program evaluation activities, including surveys, resident feedback, and reporting efforts.

Community Outreach
  • Represent CHN Housing Partners at community meetings, outreach events, and partner engagements.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Required:
Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in providing case management or supportive services
  • Prior experience in a social service setting
  • Previous experience administering programs for youth, families, and/or seniors

Skills:
  • Familiarity with the Federal Fair Housing Act, and other relevant housing compliance laws.
  • Excellent computer skills and organizational skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Team player
  • Ability to interact with a diverse population
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to CHN's CRM/databases
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suites
