We're looking for Front-end Programmer Developers to join our growing team, IT Settlements, where you'll play a key role in shaping mission-critical systems that support financial settlements for the regional transmission organization (RTO) and contract services.

To be successful as the Front-end Programmer Developer, we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Senior Programmer Developer - Six (6) years of applicable Information Technology Development/Support experience
  • Programmer Developer II - Three (3) years experience of Information Technology Development/Support experience
  • Competent and effective working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Unix or Linux operating systems, application development and support, and database management systems
  • Competent and effective troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Competent and effective written and oral communication skills
  • Competent understanding and effective working knowledge of SDLC and project life cycle methods and practices
  • Good customer service and organization skills

Preferred:

  • Two (2) or more years applicable utility industry experience
  • Strong proficiency in modern React, Typescript, and Java.
  • Strong proficiency with implementing webapps in SpringBoot, including RESTful APIs.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and design best practices.
  • Proficiency with Oracle SQL and MongoDB.
  • Proficiency with large, complex systems, including system and database optimization and profiling.
  • Proficiency with developer tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Ansible.
  • Experience with Material UI, MobX, React Hooks, yarn, and rsbuild.

      Position Type, Location, and Expected Hours of Work:

      This position requires minimal travel (approximately 10%).
