POSITION PURPOSE:

TheWomen's HealthClinicManager, in coordination with theOperations andMedical departments,is responsible forthe planning, organizing and supervision of operational and clinical duties related to patient-centeredcare andsatisfaction, patient flow, efficiencies,and providerproductivitywithin theWomen's Health/Reproductive HealthDepartment.This positionwillbe responsible formonitoringthe day-to-day activities of the clinic site andis responsible forthe direct supervision,actionsand needs of clinic staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Overseesand manages all aspects of the day-to-day clinic operations and ensures that they are conductedin accordance withthe policies and procedures ofAviva Health.
  • Responsibleforprovider and patient scheduling to ensuremaximumpatient access and satisfaction, achievement ofproductivity goals,and financial viability.
  • Monitors daily and monthly productivity and other key performance indicators;reports results to management, takesappropriate actionswithin the clinic to ensure clinic goals are met.
  • Prepares and implements budgets for clinicsite, including monitoringand controllingclinic expenditures within theAviva HealthBoard-approved budget, in collaboration with Director.
  • Routinely interacts with patients and staff tomaintainawareness of needs and satisfaction of service provided.
  • Engagesregularly with staff to assess satisfaction and help ensure concerns are addressed.
  • Engagesroutinely with patients to assess satisfaction and the quality of services provided.
  • Conducts regular staff and provider meetings on an as-needed basis.
  • Participates in quality improvement processes and implements, evaluates, andmaintainsQI activities for the clinic.
  • Collaborates with Providers andleadershipto implement quality improvement and patient safety and satisfaction initiatives.
  • Coordinates scheduling of all staffing to ensureoptimumservice levels.
  • Ensuresthatcorrectlevels of supplies aremaintainedand organized.
  • Provides direct supervisionand supporttoall department supervisors, program managers,and coordinators.
  • Serves as a mentor and clinical resource to staff.
  • Promotes and supports integration of behavioral health, dental, and other support services intoWomen's Health Clinic.
  • Ensures clinical care delivery aligns with FQHC standards, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Assistswith coordination and compliance of all state/federal programs,to includebut not limited to, Reproductive Heath, STI,andVFC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associatedegree inbusiness or healthcare administration, or equivalentexperience;
    • Bachelor'sdegree preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or management experiencein a healthcare settingrequired.
  • Active RN or LPN license or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credentials preferred.
  • Experience inanFQHC preferred.
  • Ability to work cooperatively withclinical, operations,medical,and finance staff to meetAviva Healthobjectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, includingoral and written comprehension and expression.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.
  • Strong experience and skillsinMicrosoft Office and EMRs(Athena preferred).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to perform the following physical requirements:

  • Remain in a stationary positionfrequentlythroughoutthe daytoperform administrative duties.
  • Move or traverseoccasionallythroughoutthe day through the clinic or office.
  • Operate equipmentfrequentlythroughout the day: computer and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and accurately so others will understand; ability to interact with patients and staff clearly.
  • Able to move or transport up to 30 pounds to maneuver office equipment.
  • Work indoors inheat-controlled environmentfrequentlythroughout the day.
  • OSHA Exposure Category - Category #2: The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
  • In-person work; normal business hours with periodic night or weekend work.
  • Travel required and use of companyvehicle.
