Job description

The Superintendent of Schools announces the following position within the Fall River Public School System:

Position:ย Instructional Support Liaison

Job Description:ย This position provides direct services to students. This position is to support and work with students under the guidance of certified classroom teachers and building administrators. The position will implement targeted strategies and work on student skills to support and assist students in reaching their academic goals.

Performance Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in Planning for Student instruction
  2. Collect, analyze, and monitor student data and interventions
  3. Lead targeted interventions on academic instruction for small groups of students
  4. Attend professional development to support instruction
  5. Administer student testing and progress monitoring
  6. Collaborate with teachers
  7. Any other additional duties as assigned, including class coverages
  8. Any other additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by the building administrator

Required Qualifications:

  1. Associate's Degree OR 60 College Credits Required. Bachelor's Degree preferred
  2. Experience with K-12 age group in a coaching or teaching environment
  3. Second Language skills preferred

Reports To:ย Principal

Terms of Employment:ย Continued employment is contingent on work performance, program needs, and funding. Employees will work a 183 day work year and a 7 hour day, hours adjusted for assigned school.
