As a Kitchen/Site Support Aide, you will play a critical role in supporting daily operations-ensuring meals are handled safely, environments stay organized, and classrooms and front office functions receive the support they need to thrive.
The Kitchen/Site Support Aide is responsible for managing meal service operations in compliance with food safety regulations while supporting overall site functionality. This role ensures food is received, handled, and distributed appropriately, maintains a clean and organized kitchen space, and provides flexible assistance across classrooms and front desk operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Food and Kitchen Operations
  • Receive and verify food deliveries, including substitutions and menu adjustments
  • Monitor and document food temperatures and expiration dates
  • Prepare and deliver meals, utensils, and supplies to classrooms
  • Collect, clean, and store dishes, trays, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness through routine daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks
  • Keep equipment such as dishwashers, refrigerators, and food warmers clean and functional

Site and Program Support
  • Provide front desk coverage when needed, including answering phones and greeting families
  • Assist classrooms during non-meal periods, supporting supervision and activities
  • Participate in required trainings and professional development opportunities
