Pay Range: $55,000 - $60,000 Annual

Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Provide daily guidance and assistance to assigned driver support specialists and/or gate operators and/or operations support coordinators.

  • Ensure assigned area in Driver Support is appropriately staffed and operating within budget constraints.
  • Ensure assigned employees have career development plans that provide the organization with strong bench strength for future leaders and specialized individual contributors.
  • Ensure processes and procedures meet organizational requirements and are accurately utilized.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of department and team goals.
  • Monitor productivity, encourage engagement and provide clarification of goals.
  • Ensure management defined metrics are adhered to during assigned shift.
  • Coordinate with leadership and assist in staff scheduling.
  • Update all Kronos times and monitor for accuracy.
  • As directed, may assist Operations Support Coordinators with recovering loads.
  • Assist with Comdata and dispatch problems as necessary.
  • Assist with fuel and routing issues of drivers.
  • Promote driver safety at all times.
  • Assist with emergency situations issues where law enforcement is involved and/or issues that involve driver compliance.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

  • 2+ years related experience in call center and/or transportation operations required.
  • Previous project management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in Transportation/Logistics industry preferred.
  • Must be proficient in all products within the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to solve problems and work in high pressure situations.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associates or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
