Shea Aesthetic Clinic is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and client-focused Weight Loss Specialist Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This position combines personalized weight management coaching with hands-on medical spa support in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about health, wellness, nutrition, and helping clients achieve sustainable results.


In this role, you will work directly with approximately 15 clients per day through 15 to 30-minute appointments, providing education, support, and accountability while assisting with a variety of aesthetic and medical spa services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Weight Management & Client Care

  • Conduct individualized weight-loss consultations, reviewing client progress, nutrition, exercise habits, lifestyle factors, and barriers to success.
  • Measure client weight and perform InBody body composition analyses, focusing on overall health, fat loss, and lean muscle preservation.
  • Provide personalized nutrition guidance, including recommendations on calories, protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, fiber, and nutrient-dense food choices.
  • Educate and motivate clients on exercise, healthy lifestyle habits, and long-term weight management strategies.
  • Offer ongoing support, accountability, recipes, educational materials, and wellness resources to help clients reach their goals.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities

  • Support the clinic's medical weight-loss program, including GLP-1 medications and Mega Burn injections.
  • Prepare and administer medications and injections in accordance with provider direction, training, certification, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor client progress, medication tolerance, and reported side effects, escalating concerns to the appropriate provider when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with clinic standards.

Medical Spa Support

  • Assist providers with medical spa procedures, including liposuction, Quantum procedures, and other aesthetic services as needed.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, assist with room turnover, and maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas.
  • Support daily clinic operations by assisting with medication preparation, client flow, and team coverage to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Collaborate with providers and team members to deliver outstanding care and customer service.
