To support these companies, we need someone passionate about linking companies with the clinical and research infrastructure needed to help companies bring their innovative products and services to market. As the Program Coordinator (Life Science) the work you do will create significant impact for our clients and for Innovation Factory. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate day-to-day delivery of the Health Ecosystem to Accelerate & Leverage Trials of Healthcare Innovation (HEALTHI) program, as well as providing support for the Canadian Medtech Alliance (CAMEDA), Southern Ontario Pharmaceutical and Health Innovation Ecosystem (SOPHIE), and wHealth Medpath programs, and other new life science-focused programming that may be developed. . In addition, the Program Coordinator will be involved in other activities that help our customers solve big problems through leveraging the facilities, expertise and capacity of the Canadian health ecosystem. This is a full-time position. This role will work collaboratively with all departments and teams within Innovation Factory and reports to the Senior Program Manager, Life Sciences. Core Responsibilities: Life Science Project Coordination & Administration Coordinate delivery of HEALTHI and wHealth MedPath project programming to exceed client expectations and enhance their ability to leverage Canadian health ecosystem infrastructure, facilities, and assets. Work with Senior Program Manager to manage internal relationships and communications necessary to successfully execute the HEALTHI and wHealth Medpath programs Act as a point of contact for supporting life science program participants and stakeholders. Organize, track and update program documentation. Support leadership with developing strategy and business planning processes and monitor program performance against stated objectives. Coordinate with community stakeholders and participating companies to ensure individual client projects are assigned, started, and completed successfully. Includes both pre- and post- program coordination and reporting. Assist with reporting out on evaluation metrics to determine success and impact of programs. Maintain a view of program status / customer experience, using project management tools and customer relationship management systems. Ensure ongoing communication is maintained among program stakeholders Work cross functionally with Operations, Marketing and Venture Growth to ensure all program elements are driven efficiently. Support the leadership team and Senior Program Manager in initiating new programs, including funding pursuits. Other duties as assigned. Ecosystem Support Responsibilities Support innovation factory in building and maintaining relationships and networks amongst clients and regional ecosystem partners. Respond to inbound inquiries regarding ecosystem initiatives and activities. Assist with the creation of communications and marketing materials to advance the interest of life science clients and team with Marketing. Support organization of site visits from select stakeholders. Manage follow-up from monthly Hamilton Health Ecosystem Check-up Maintain a view of customer engagement and experience, using project management tools and customer relationship management systems. Keep informed of industry trends and concepts that can be used to enhance program offerings. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Recently completed a relevant post-secondary education. Healthcare innovation-focused degree or diploma an asset. Proven ability to deliver programs in an organized and detailed manner to keep projects to planned timelines. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to coordinate collaboration among multiple parties with disparate views and objectives and align the group toward a cohesive outcome. Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities concurrently. Motivated self-starter, who is comfortable with ambiguity. Experience collecting and interpreting data; proficiency using tools such as Excel, Insightly, Asana, etc. An ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Ability to effectively communicate in both English and French is an asset. Working Conditions: 5 days per week; 37.5 hours per week, regular daytime business hours are between 9 am EST to 5 pm EST.
