Are you a detail-oriented professional who enjoys helping others navigate complex processes? We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team as a dedicated resource for our employees. From guiding staff through claims process and resolving payroll inquiries to managing the vital details of our bargaining unit postings and training programs, you will be the go-to person for administrative excellence. Your goal will be to provide clear, accurate support that allows our team to focus on their work while knowing their benefits and personnel needs are in expert hands.
Key Responsibilities:
NYL Claims Assistance:
  • Assist employees with NYL claims processing ensuring accuracy.
Attendance and Payroll Support:
  • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and issues.
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll processing.
Bargaining Unit Job Postings:
  • Manage the administrative process for bargaining unit job postings, including data entry in PeopleSoft.
  • Ensure job postings comply with relevant regulations and company policies and CBA language.
  • Manage/track status of probationary period employees
Training and Development:
  • Provide support for employee training programs, including scheduling and coordination.
  • Assist in the development and dissemination of training materials.
Special Projects:
  • Participate in special projects as assigned, including process improvement initiatives and audits.
Because of the need for in-person collaboration this position is full time onsite. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of administrative experience.
  • Proficient in PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred
Prior work in Human Resources Claims Management, Payroll, or General HR compliance.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $51917 - $83067
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
