Job description

Level 5 Portfolio & Program Support

At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, we are inspired by innovation and integrity. We believe that by applying the highest standards of business ethics and creative thinking, everything is within our reach – and yours as a Lockheed Martin employee. Lockheed Martin values your skills, training and education. Come and experience your future!

The selected candidate will be responsible for the end to end management, execution, and support for multiple contracts that support Lockheed Martin's automated test equipment organization. The role covers all aspects of program performance—cost, schedule, and technical—while integrating professionals from engineering, global sustainment, supply chain, operations, and other functional support areas. The incumbent must be able to integrate disparate data, drive appropriate processes, identify and manage issues/risks/opportunities, and develop corrective action paths as needed. A primary focus of this position is to create, maintain, and leverage customer relationships with both internal (across LM) and external customers (U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force) and internal stakeholders. Understanding the differing priorities of these customer sets is essential for successful contract performance and for shaping future business opportunities. The Project Manager will establish the resources required for the team's success, direct the work of assigned employees, and ensure clear communication of challenges and opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders. Responsibilities include program execution activities, leading proposal development and kickoff activities, supporting baseline reviews, and coordinating enterprise performance and quality reviews. The role also supports the capture of new contracts, requiring a strategic mindset and prior proposal experience. In addition to managing existing efforts, the project manager will lead internal IRAD and capital projects across test. Successful candidates must be responsible to communicate all pertinent items including challenges and opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure mission success.

You thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment and are committed to delivering best-in-class products and solutions.

With the autonomy to use your skills and expertise in innovative ways, you can take on exciting challenges and help solve some of the world's most pressing problems.
