Job description
Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.
What this job involves:
As the Assistant Program Delivery Manager for Expressions in Nashville, you will serve as the sole on-site operator of the Expressions Lab in Nashville in service of the Amazon Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) client. Expressions promotes an innovative mindset at Amazon, producing dynamic art experiences that exercise individual creativity, encourage invention, and strengthen teams through imaginative collaboration in the workplace. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way - for our clients, ourselves, and our fellow employees. Reporting to the Senior Program Delivery Manager, Expressions, you will independently manage all day-to-day operations and programming delivery at the Nashville Expressions Lab, including the Sound Room and Listening Room, ensuring that program delivery is engaging and responsive to the needs of the customer. What sets JLL apart is our culture of collaboration, locally and across the globe, which allows us to create transformative solutions for the real estate industry. You will own local data and metrics to support clear, timely reporting while receiving administrative leadership, strategic direction, and reporting oversight from the Senior Program Delivery Manager, Expressions. We embrace more innovative ways of working and prioritize opportunities to strengthen and advance your career. This position requires you to develop and execute local educational programming strategy that aligns with AMER-wide curriculum standards and responds to Nashville customer needs while managing day-to-day operations including space upkeep, supply management, calendar management, and vendor coordination. We support each other's wellbeing and champion inclusivity and belonging across teams. You will collaborate with the Senior Program Delivery Manager and broader Expressions team in imagining and implementing opportunities to elevate and expand the program while operating independently as the sole on-site representative of Expressions in Nashville.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Independently deliver and manage all Expressions programming at the Nashville Lab, including drop-in activities, workshops, open studio, team buildings, and partner-led experiences that inspire creativity and innovation
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Nashville Expressions Lab, Sound Room, and Listening Room, including space upkeep, supply management, calendar management, and vendor coordination to ensure seamless delivery
- Develop and execute local educational programming strategy that aligns with AMER-wide curriculum standards and responds to Nashville customer needs while maintaining consistency with regional program vision
- Manage internal communications and promotion for the Nashville program, including graphic design workflows, in-person signage, and newsletter contributions to drive employee engagement and awareness
- Collaborate with the Senior Program Delivery Manager and broader Expressions team in imagining and implementing opportunities to elevate and expand the program across the Nashville location
- Track and document key metrics and customer success measures related to programming, attendance, maintenance, and events while providing regular reporting to the Senior Program Delivery Manager
- Manage local budget and financial transactions, including supply procurement and vendor payments, with accountability to the Senior Program Delivery Manager for financial reporting and cost control
- Coordinate and deliver Expressions Concerts and livestream programming in partnership with the AMER team, leveraging Nashville's unique music culture and the Sound Room capabilities
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders including community partners and JLL Integrated Facilities Management partners to maintain strong relationships and program alignment
- Support delivery of additional programming outside the dedicated Expressions Lab, including pop-up activations and customer events that extend program reach across the Nashville campus
- Utilize shared file systems and document storage in accordance with JLL and GREF direction to maintain organized records and support knowledge sharing with the regional team.
Required Qualifications:
- Three (3) or more years of program experience, preferably in community engagement, art education, and/or hospitality with demonstrated ability to manage programming independently
- Three (3) or more years of physical classroom, lab, studio, or facility experience with hands-on understanding of educational programming and space operations in creative environments
- Proven artistic knowledge and cultural literacy with the ability to independently develop and deliver creative programming in a corporate environment while balancing creativity with business needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders and cross-functional teams using appropriate tone and professionalism
- Basic financial literacy including experience with transaction tracking, supply procurement, and basic budget management with accountability for local spending
- Proactive, hands-on work style with strong initiative and the ability to operate independently while maintaining alignment with remote leadership and regional strategy
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, high-profile corporate environments where agility, professionalism, and client service are essential to program success
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort learning new technology platforms to support program operations and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Facilities Management processes, real estate operations, or workplace services delivery models with understanding of how cultural programming integrates with broader workplace strategies
- Background in arts administration, museum programming, gallery management, or cultural institution leadership demonstrating understanding of arts education and community engagement best practices
- Experience with audio/music programming, sound engineering, or music education (relevant to Sound Room and Listening Room operations) with ability to leverage Nashville's music heritage
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools that support structured program delivery and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), playbooks, or operational frameworks that drive consistency and enable scaling across locations
- Track record of building partnerships with external organizations including nonprofits, cultural institutions, and local artists to create innovative programming that enriches workplace culture
- Experience operating as a sole site lead or independent contributor managing a full program lifecycle without on-site supervisory support with strong self-management skills
- Graphic design experience or familiarity with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) supporting internal communications and program promotion
