What does a successful Release Train Engineer do at Fiserv?
A successful Release Train Engineer at Fiserv leads Scrum Masters across a portfolio of work and drives execution for large-scale, complex delivery initiatives. This role enables Agile Release Train planning, coordination, and continuous improvement to support critical modernization programs, including EFTPS modernization. The successful candidate brings structure, visibility, and discipline across teams while helping remove impediments and align stakeholders on priorities and outcomes.

What you will do?

  • Lead Scrum Masters managing a portfolio of work across complex, cross-functional delivery efforts.
  • Drive release train execution for a critical modernization program in support of EFTPS modernization.
  • Facilitate planning, coordination, and program-level Agile ceremonies to keep teams aligned on scope, priorities, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
  • Partner with stakeholders, delivery leaders, and teams to expand delivery capability and improve portfolio execution.
  • Provide leadership as a senior-level Agile Coach Advisor II / Release Train Engineer supporting large-scale, billable delivery engagements.

What you must have?

  • 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, program management, or technology leadership roles.
  • 3+ years of experience serving as a Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, or leading Scrum Masters across multiple teams.
  • Experience supporting 1+ large enterprise modernization program with multiple cross-functional workstreams.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field.

What would be nice to have?

  • 1+ SAFe certification, such as SAFe RTE, SAFe Agilist, or SAFe Program Consultant.
  • 2+ years of experience in payments, financial services, or government-related technology programs.
  • Experience leading Agile execution across portfolios involving 5+ Scrum teams.
