How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Warmly greet and check-in and check-out all patients and visitors, handling necessary documentation and ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Expertly manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirmation, and processing requests for medical record releases.
  • Carefully manage and verify patient demographic and Medical Insurance details, including obtaining all required Pre-Authorizations and Authorizations to ensure continuity of care.
  • Accurately enter and review daily charges for patient services and manage co-payments, deposits, and daily report reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Provide essential administrative support to your colleagues, helping to keep our office running smoothly and efficiently so the clinical team can focus on care.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • At least one year of experience in a Medical Clinic or Medical Group setting.
  • One or more years of experience with Medical Insurance, Pre-Authorizations, and Authorizations.
