Job description

One Federal Solution is seeking a Senior Program Manager I to support the United States Marshals Service (USMS) by providing program management, operational oversight, and strategic coordination support for headquarters initiatives and program operations. The selected individual will oversee ongoing projects, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, support executive leadership, and assist with the planning and execution of mission-critical operational activities. The Senior Program Manager I must demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced federal environment.

Senior Program Manager I Tasks and Duties:
  • Assist with the management, planning, coordination, administration, and execution of USMS program operations and initiatives.
  • Oversee ongoing projects and coordinate activities with internal offices, external agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and operational milestones to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop and analyze program resource requests, staffing requirements, and operational needs.
  • Interpret and apply existing rules, regulations, policies, and federal program guidance.
  • Prepare reports, memoranda, executive briefings, presentations, and correspondence for leadership review.
  • Review program documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.
  • Coordinate meetings, briefings, and program-related communications with government personnel and stakeholders.
  • Maintain tracking systems, program records, and operational reporting metrics.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on program operations and administrative activities.
Senior Program Manager I Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust background investigation.
  • Must have at least six years of specialized experience related to program management, operations management, project coordination, or federal program support.
  • Experience supporting federal government programs or contracts is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal employees as well as outside sources.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
Compensation:

This position offers a target hourly pay range of $43.00/hr to $47.00/hr based on experience, qualifications, and contract alignment.
