Raytheon is seeking an experienced supply chain professional for a career as a Material Program Manager (MPM). This opportunity is with the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area, Product Support sub-mission area of Raytheon. In this role, the candidate will support the Program Supply Chain Lead MPM in all aspects of program supply chain execution for assigned program.
In this highly visible role you're a self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a team responsible for creation and execution of Material Program Plans (MPP) to ensure the flawless execution you will influence across SCM functions from the front end of the business through contract closure, ensuring adherence to policies, practices, and procedures.
In this role you will work onsite in Pittsfield, MA., a dynamic environment which includes other defense contractor partners and the USG customer. You'll be the liaison between the Supply Chain and Program while executing the program's material strategy to ensure flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure.
What You Will Do
  • Support the Lead MPM in developing, managing, and executing the MPS (Material Program Strategy) and the MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful execution of program performance to customer requirements, from the front end of the business through contract closure.
  • Generate various supply chain reports, analyze data, plan and take meaningful actions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Program Office, Engineering, Quality and Logistics, Operations to resolve part and supplier complications.
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues.
  • Provide accurate Program SCM input for EACs.
  • Prepare and present (verbal and written) to key stakeholders and the customer.
  • Engage with the programs supply base, ensuring expectations are met.
  • Weekly material sales forecasting.
  • Ability to travel domestically/internationally, as required.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
  • Experience with Supply Chain strategies, processes, and / or related procedures
  • Related Vendor / supplier relationship management experience

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Analytical skills required to evaluate end-to end planning and identify constraints, risks and opportunities
  • Experience working with Risk and Opportunity Management (ROM)
  • Experience with SAP / PRISM
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (i.e. pivot tables, filters, advanced formulas, macros, automation, MS Office Integration, etc.)
  • Industry Program Management certifications and /or as an Internal Candidate must achieve: MPM Level 4, PM Level 7. EVMS and CORE Certifications

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
