About this role
The Program Manager is responsible for managing the execution of moderate-to-complex cross-functional programs from initiation through completion. The role develops and maintains integrated project plans, coordinates team activities, tracks progress against milestones, and ensures effective management of program risks, issues, actions, and dependencies.
The Program Manager works closely with functional leaders and stakeholders to align resources, facilitate decision-making, and drive accountability to commitments. This position is accountable for providing program visibility and ensuring execution remains aligned with business objectives and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning & Execution
    • Develop and maintain integrated program schedules and execution plans.
    • Coordinate activities across multiple functional teams to achieve program objectives.
    • Monitor program performance against scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
    • Drive action item closure and follow-up on key commitments.
    • Support launch readiness and execution milestones throughout the program lifecycle.
    • Ensure programs meet defined deliverables and business expectations.
  • Schedule & Critical Path Management
    • Build and maintain detailed project schedules.
    • Identify critical path activities and execution risks.
    • Monitor milestone achievement and escalate potential delays.
    • Coordinate recovery plans when schedule deviations occur.
    • Maintain accurate program plans using approved project management tools.
  • Risk & Issue Management
    • Identify, assess, and track program risks and issues.
    • Facilitate development of mitigation plans.
    • Escalate critical business and execution concerns appropriately.
    • Monitor effectiveness of mitigation actions and contingency plans.
    • Provide regular risk visibility to program stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Facilitate regular program reviews and team meetings.
    • Communicate program status, risks, decisions, and actions to stakeholders.
    • Prepare executive and leadership status updates.
    • Ensure transparency and alignment across participating functions.
    • Build strong working relationships throughout the organization
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams.
    • Manage program dependencies across multiple functions.
    • Facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution.
    • Drive accountability to commitments and deadlines.
    • Support alignment between business priorities and execution activities.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Support phase-gate reviews and governance processes.
    • Ensure required project documentation remains current.
    • Maintain compliance with company program management standards.
    • Track program metrics and prepare governance review materials.
    • Support audit readiness and program reporting requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to improve execution effectiveness.
    • Contribute to adoption of standard program management practices.
    • Apply lessons learned to future programs.
    • Support PMO initiatives focused on improving organizational performance.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, program management, new product development, or engineering.
  • 3+ years of experiencing coordinating cross-functional teams and activities.
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple programs simultaneously.
  • 3+ years of experience planning, scheduling, and developing risk management principles.
  • 3+ years of experience working within phase-gate or product development processes.
  • Must have full authorization to work in the USA. No Sponsorship available.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Project Management, or similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and risk management principles.
  • Experience supporting new product development programs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, operations, or supply chain environments.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
