Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business, is looking for a dynamic Program Management Manager to join our team in Enfield, CT.

Position Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the overall profitability and performance of assigned program(s).
  • Enhancement of existing and implementation of new programs.
  • Maintain and create a professional yet personalized relationship with assigned customers.
  • Accountable for continuous improvement in customer program management tools and processes.
  • End-to-end program lifecycle management (planning, execution, monitoring, and closure)
  • Collaborate with and influence cross-functional internal leaders regarding customer specific strategy, execution and customer relationship management.
  • Responsible for consistent management and administration of contractual obligations.
  • Responsible for all recoveries and remedies for programs adhering to contractual commitments.
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Supports the coordination and clarifies analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals.
  • Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Practices.
  • Daily RAIL management & execution
  • Facilitates the resolution of program issues, developing solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
  • Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provides historical reports to incorporate into future project plans Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution
  • Provides coaching and guidance to teammates, fostering a collaborative and growth environment, performs 1 on 1.
  • Subject matter expert in program management.
  • Program reviews with external and internal senior leadership.
  • Approvals for CR/Rebills and RMAs.
  • Creation of Get to Green Plans
  • Provide KPI metrics reports.
  • Supports Customer on Site Business Reviews.
  • Leading cross-functional teams through high-stress recovery situations
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or format manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • 10 + years of experience in programs or accounts management
  • 2+ years’ experience engaging in senior level communication including presentation development and report outs
  • 3+ years’ experience working with internal and external customers
  • 2+ years’ experience establishing, management and reporting of metrics.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically & internationally up to 50% of the time
  • Experience with standard Microsoft Office Applications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business Administration or Engineering or Related Field of Study (master’s degree preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in the aerospace industry/fasteners, preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience with Power BI tool
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment working on multiple competing priorities, and holding other functions accountable to plan
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills serving as escalation point of contact
  • SAP experience preferred
