Position Overview

As Senior Program Manager, API Business Models, you will partner with internal stakeholders to scope, build, and drive the business models and monetization programs around Autodesk APIs.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be highly collaborative and organized. You will work directly with multiple teams across Autodesk to understand goals, constraints, business needs, and to identify creative solutions to monetize and scale API monetization. You will apply learnings from these engagements to the planning and execution of programs that form the foundation of future Autodesk revenue streams. While you won't need to be the expert, you will look under the hood and understand systems implications of new models to help translate ideas into needed technical capabilities. And, you will do all of this with an ownership mentality around the business streams you want to bring to market.

Responsibilities

  • Own defining and prioritizing business requirements and policies for our API monetization model and track execution by internal partners

  • Drive communication and workflows across teams and cross-functional partners, serving as a key integration point with other teams for projects / programs

  • Organize and focus project team time and effectiveness

  • Anticipate organizational needs and pursue proactive solutions

  • Act as a thought leader on API monetization and the evolution into MCP Server monetization - from day-to-day discussions to long-term strategy and planning

  • Execute and move the project forward, including project tracking and providing updates across the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in similar roles

  • Specific experience in Strategy or Go-to-Market an API-centric business

  • Expertise in driving technical, cross-functional programs with the ability to understand and articulate both the 30,000 foot business strategy of the program and the granular details of buildout

  • Excellent communication skills. Core strengths around written and verbal communication as well as data analysis and technical understanding

  • Capable of making business recommendations and action plans based on data analysis

  • Display an intense focus on achieving both short- and long-term goals

  • Self-starter and adaptable. You're energized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $124,000 and $221,430. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
