We are seeking an energetic, strategic, and dedicated leader. The ICF Program Director will oversee the day-to-day operations, clinical service, and staff management of an Intermediate Care Facility for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
Position Overview
The ICF Program Director is responsible for creating and fostering a dynamic team environment, leading and developing a dynamic ICF team while collaborating with Programming staff to ensure person-centered, high-quality resident care. This role will ensure regulatory compliance, high-quality active treatment, and a homelike environment for residents.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, i.e., Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (ODODD), Ohio Department of Health (ODH), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Communicate and apply polices, practices, procedures, objectives and goals necessary for attainment of quality care and life.
  • Clinical Oversight: Coordinate Individual Support Plans (ISPs), functional assessments, and ongoing active treatment programs for all residents. Ensure a person-centered approach to individual service planning and service implementation that promotes individual choice.
  • Staff Management: Direct a team of professionals who surround the OISP planning, goals and outcomes – including, QIDP, activities/recreation, therapy, habilitation. Provides support for staff development.
  • Financial Administration: Monitor individual residents’ personal funds. Assist in the preparation and submission of Programming budget.
  • Client Advocacy: Oversee overall quality of life, ensuring a person-centered, safe, and homelike environment. Advocate for residents’ rights. Partner with schools and day programs. Interact with, provide care for, and remain alert to and interested in the changing needs of individuals with disabilities.
Education/Licenses/Credentials/Certifications
  • Education: Requires a bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, public health, or a related field.
  • Credentials: Must often meet QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) qualifications.
