This position is for a hub coordinator for fall prevention programming. This is a grant funded role and is not guaranteed post the grant funding end date.

Summary

The Community Program Coordinator applies advanced knowledge and experience to complex, interconnected complementary projects while ensuring projects are in line with each other. Oversees programs and services that affect the lives of children, childcare providers, parents, and/or adults. Coordinates the logistical implementation of assigned projects and adheres to program grants when relevant.

Job Description

Responsible for handling projects as determined by grants and program needs. Oversees operations of programs and services implementation to ensure compliance relative to project expectations. Manages multiple concurrent projects or priorities; establishes program plans that identify, communicate, and track tasks and deliverables to meet goals and objectives. Develops and maintains documentation pertinent to specific projects. Delegates tasks to program members. Evaluates key metrics related to program goals and objectives. Assesses existing program procedures. Implements improvements as appropriate. Assists with onboarding of new staff. Responsible for internal and external networking to promote and grow department services. Able to resolve problems for unique and complex challenges and requires generation of solutions that look beyond the immediate problem to wider implications. Builds professional networks and identifies and connects resources to solve issues and achieve goals. Serves as a resource for leadership, stakeholders, and program team. Works independently with minimal direction on day-to-day work. Determines own methods and approaches to work; establishes work priorities and timelines for own work, as well as program teams. Contributes to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving program/project delivery. Serves as change agent, influencing stakeholders and project deliverables to change organizational culture and processes. Presents program/project proposals, updates, and outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of degree, five to eight years of relevant work experience.
Five to eight years' applicable experience preferred.
