The Job:

As a PMO, you'll be part of our Global Tools & Storage team located in Towson.
Specifically, you'll get to:
Monitor project P&L and key drivers that affect overall program financial health ensuring projects meet established objectives (e.g. margins, costs, revenue).
Understands what program success is and drives path forward to achieve success in most timely and cost effective manner.
Applies technical knowledge and understanding to day-to-day decision making.
Demonstrates high level of understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies used to produce a product.
Develops and maintains timing and action plan for projects of moderate scope with guidance from senior PMs.
Coordinates necessary data acquisition to provide strategic direction for solving problems.
Identifies problems, conducts root-cause analysis, and implements solution using a systematic approach.
Partners with development and delivery organizations to participate in consensus on new product development (NPD), productivity and product maintenance.
Incorporates consumer and market insights as a driver of innovation and project execution.
Prepares project status and risks to manager with proper level of detail and recover plans.
Challenges and provides constructive mitigation strategies.
Supports cadence and techniques to run efficient meetings.
Demonstrates basic knowledge of tools and techniques in the fields of program and project management. Adheres to new product development processes.
Collaborates with team members to identify project risks and recommend potential mitigation plans.
Under supervision will support or lead projects whose level of innovation and technology is existing or proven and contains higher risk, complexity and capital spend.
Builds extensive cross-functional knowledge of business operations to effectively manage risks, coordinate project activities and make appropriate decisions.
Collaborates with cross functional team to develop timing and action plan for project. Coordinates with senior program managers to ensure dependencies and critical path are identified and communicated.

Ability to effectively lead meetings, set agenda, document minutes, and monitor/track key deliverables, attended by multiple stakeholders, and SMEs across multiple business units, product lines or business processes
Supports projects relating to change initiatives impacting multiple businesses unites, product lines, or business processes
Provides advanced analytical support for change initiatives
Capable of soliciting and accurately documenting process flows and business requirements
Actively manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan
Develops documentation; monitors and reports project status; assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation
Maintains reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units
Responsible for significant contributions to the design, development and completion of project deliverables
Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals or implementation
