  • 5+ years of experience managing transportation or delivery operations within a distribution center or warehouse.
  • Knowledge of fleet management, route optimization, and Department of Transportation regulations.

Job Summary
Leads all transportation and delivery operations within a distribution center, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of products. Oversees delivery teams, fleet operations, routing, and performance management while driving operational excellence and compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and Department of Transportation regulations.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
  • Leads delivery operations, including route planning, dispatching, and daily performance monitoring.
  • Manages staffing, labor planning, and KPI tracking to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery operations.
  • Oversees fleet maintenance, vehicle inspections, asset management, and compliance with safety and regulatory vehicle inspection requirements.
  • Develops and coaches delivery teams through training, ride-alongs, and performance management.
  • Monitors driver safety programs, incident reviews, and compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Resolves operational issues, process exceptions, and customer delivery concerns.
