Our work environment is collaborative and encourages continuous learning and growth, perfect for professionals who are self-motivated and enjoy working independently.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Step By Step Social Work, you will:

  • Provide individual psychotherapy to clients struggling with mental health challenges associated with substance abuse.

  • Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored specifically for substance recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation through our electronic health record system, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to design integrated care plans and coordinate services for clients, ensuring comprehensive support.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health and available substance abuse resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
  • Stay informed on recent research developments and integrate these findings into therapeutic practices to enhance treatment effectiveness.
  • Manage an appropriate caseload of clients, consistently meeting treatment goals while upholding ethical standards of practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients facing substance abuse challenges, many of whom may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health disorders. • A deep understanding of solution-focused therapeutic interventions.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience

While one year of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in group therapy settings, crisis intervention, or specialized training in substance abuse treatment will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be an advantage, allowing for efficient documentation and case management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a lucrative salary, our benefits package includes:
