Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide psychotherapy services to individuals struggling with mental health issues associated with substance abuse, utilizing therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based strategies.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for all clinical interactions and treatment plans, ensuring adherence to organizational and legal standards.
• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary treatment team to provide coordinated and holistic care for each patient.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available community resources, empowering them on their recovery journey.
• Stay updated with the latest research in mental health and substance abuse treatment to continuously improve your practice.
• Effectively manage your caseload, striving to meet established treatment goals while maintaining ethical integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult clients grappling with substance abuse issues and the associated mental health challenges. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, often dealing with complex emotional experiences. Understanding the nuances of various cultural perspectives is essential in providing effective care that resonates with your clients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, particularly in the realm of substance abuse therapy.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
