Job Description:ย
The Assistant Property Manager will support the daily operations of residential communities while also assisting the broader property management team with administrative and compliance-related initiatives. This position is fully onsite, with time split between assigned properties and the main office. The role provides direct responsibility for a portfolio of approximately 50โ100 units, along with cross-functional team support.ย
Key Responsibilities:ย
- Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned residential propertiesย
- Conduct routine property inspections and ensure community standards are maintainedย
- Support rent collection efforts and lease compliance processesย
- Serve as a primary point of contact for resident questions and concernsย
- Coordinate maintenance requests and monitor unit turns and vacanciesย
- Maintain accurate resident files and ensure regulatory complianceย
- Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation requirementsย
- Provide backup coverage for other property management team members as neededย
- Contribute to special projects and departmental process improvementsย
- Uphold Fair Housing standards and maintain confidentiality at all timesย
Qualifications:ย
- High school diploma required; additional education preferredย
- 1โ3 years of experience in property management, leasing, housing programs, or related administrative roles preferredย
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detailย
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software systemsย
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesย
Additional Details:ย
- Schedule: MondayโFriday, 8:00 AM โ 5:00 PMย
- Fully onsite role (3 days at properties, 2 days at main office)ย
