DESCRIPTION:


As a program manager, you will be responsible for the guidance of complex programs through their full lifecycle – from proposal and contract award through design, manufacturing, testing, delivery, and sustainment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead programs end-to-end, ensuring delivery on cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality requirements.
  • Act as liaison between internal stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations, conducting program reviews, and resolving issues quickly.
  • Coordinate and develop proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), budgets, schedules, and risk management plans.
  • Utilize Earned Value Management to track cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct risk and opportunity assessments to inform decision making.
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and finance) to meet program milestones.
  • Monitor and report program status using metrics such as earned value management (EVM), variance analysis, and key performance indicators.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage changes, and drive continuous improvement in program execution.
  • Support business development by expanding existing programs and identifying new opportunities with current and prospective customers.
  • Ensure full compliance with defense industry standards, ITAR/EAR regulations, AS9100 quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Manage subcontracts, suppliers, and supply chain elements critical to program success

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related technical field
  • Relevant experience in aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated technical industry
    • Program Manager, II – 5 years of related experience
    • Program Manager, Senior – 9 years of related experience
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., master's degree or Ph.D., may be substituted for two years of experience
  • Strong understanding of program management principles (cost, schedule, performance), methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall) and tools (MS Project preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead without direct authority in a matrix or small-team environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • U.S. citizenship required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CAM experience and/or certification
  • PMP certification or equivalent
  • Experience and comfort working in a small company environment
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance
  • Supply chain experience

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary for this position is $121,160-241,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Maverick RF Solutions considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits:

Full healthcare package, 401(k) match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Holidays. Full time employees accrue 10 hours of PTO per month; up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive 80 hours for designated and floating holidays.

Remote Work:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Maverick RF Solutions facility.

Work Schedule:

Flexible: 40 hours (5day x 8hr o 4day x 10hr)
