  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years' experience mentoring and supervising coworkers.
  • At least 5 years' experience in service coordination.

  • Can demonstrate the ability to think analytically, critically, and proven problem-solving ability.

What You Will Do
The Program Manager works collaboratively with the Program Director and Senior Vice President, Population Health to ensure that the Developmental Disability Administration (DDA) Program is operating efficiently within the contract parameters. The Program Manager will be directly involved in developing and monitoring quality improvement interventions to improve program operations, processes, and outcomes. This position will be responsible for identifying training needs and conducting training as appropriate for Team Managers, Supports Planners and Service Coordination Associates. The Program Manager will also be responsible for supervising Team Managers, providing support to evaluate and improve overall program performance. The Program Manager will report directly to and work closely with the Program Director.
As a Program Manager you will:
  • In conjunction with Program Director, supervise, support, and develop Team Managers and additional coworkers, as appropriate.
  • Provide orientation and mentoring for Team Managers.
  • Serve as a resource to staff for problem solving regarding client issues, contract requirements, policies, and procedures, DME/DMS, eligibility; advises, supports, and takes appropriate action.
  • In conjunction with the Program Director, develop a process for the orientation and mentoring of DDA coworkers.
  • Continually assess the resources, learning opportunities, and training needed by staff. Communicates those needs to the Director for discussion and implementation of the course of action.
  • Work collaboratively with the Team Managers with developing and scheduling training utilizing various training modalities and software.
  • Work collaboratively with other supervisory co-workers to develop policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the Intake team and Team Managers to manage the workflow relative to referrals, closures, acuity, and staffing.
  • Continually develop and monitors strategies to respond to the changing needs of the program and improve the overall quality of the DDA program.
  • Assist the Program Director in developing the Scope of Work in response to the RFP.
  • Support efforts to ensure contract adherence and provide recommendations as appropriate.
  • Develop, review and monitor required metrics and other quality indicators to improve the quality of program services.
  • Support the Team Managers with utilizing metrics and indicators to support their teams.
  • Participate in the development of coworkers to support the delivery of coordinating interventions.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled regional and team meetings.
  • Ensure timely completion of all performance evaluations and coaching and counseling sessions.
  • Troubleshoot staffing issues with Director and Team Manager(s) and takes appropriate action.
  • Lead by example and implements The Center's mission/values within the department.
  • Support outreach, networking and information dissemination about The Coordinating Center programs.
  • Liaise with various state and local entities as needed.
  • Coordinate and manages external and internal communications and resources to maintain quality service delivery.
