Position at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc.
SEWS - Farmington Hills, Michigan Office. Although located at SEWS - Farmington Hills Office, this is a Hybrid position, which combines both in office and off-site work. Associates are required to work at least four days in the office each week, but also have the flexibility to work off-site.
Job Title: Program Analyst II
BASIC PURPOSE:
The basic function of a Program Analyst includes, but is not limited to, providing Program Management support by coordinating, analyzing and
tracking issues for specific programs. Must work closely with Program Manager(s) to ensure cross functional team alignment while supporting/leading internal and external customer meetings. Additional Job Duties of updating MPP for plant information for all programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Reconcile cost matrix against CR in Ford System.
  • Update parts list (part walk format).
  • Update CMM with cost matrix information.

2. PSTS requests for Prototype
  • Generate/consolidate request based off of harness picks from systems.
  • Updates levels based off pending CN's and CR's.
  • Sends requests to Engineering to verify levels.

3. PSTS requests IAA/ Trials
  • Engineering sends information and will consolidate and send out request.
  • Engineers track the PSTS/shipping.

4. Pre-Production Orders
  • Reconcile EDI orders to confirm correct levels are being ordered.

5. All IAA/ Trials and/or reworks are tracked on the Alert/ IAA Tracker matrix to ensure invoicing is completed.
  • Tracks 3rd Party invoices to ensure NTE is not exceeded.
  • No meeting, just handles on a case-by-case basis.
  • Facilitation of overall Alert/ IAA Tracker (matrix) and respective team meetings.

6. Reviews all CCR's (external and internal)
  • Assist with obtaining timing for all engineering changes (response time must be quicker to meet customer needs).
  • Reviews first page and determines if the internal change needs to be escalated.

7. Assisting Program Manager with other miscellaneous tasks that may include, but not limited to, leading internal meetings as necessary, preparations for internal/ external meetings and management of other documents/ tracking tools. (i.e. Smart Sheets, Balance Out Tracking, Alert/ IAA Tracking, etc.)
8. Good organizational skills, communication skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
9. Update MPP for plant information.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3-5 years' experience with automotive wire harness process/automotive experience.
