Our Director's have the opportunity to positively interact with residents, patients, guests, family members and team members daily. They are passionate about providing the highest quality care possible, leading a great team of care givers and exceeding the expectations of those they serve and work with.

As a Director of Rehabilitation in a facility, your job role would involve overseeing and managing all aspects of the rehabilitation services provided in that setting. Some key responsibilities and duties may include:

  • Developing and implementing rehabilitation programs tailored to meet the needs of patients in the facility.
  • Supervising and evaluating the performance of rehabilitation staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards for rehabilitation services.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
  • Assessing patient needs and developing individualized rehabilitation goals and treatment plans.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Managing resources, including equipment and supplies, to support the delivery of rehabilitation services.
  • Providing leadership and mentoring to rehabilitation staff to promote a positive work environment and professional growth.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of rehabilitation services.
  • Maintaining documentation and reporting on the outcomes of rehabilitation services to track progress and ensure accountability.

As the Director of Rehabilitation, you play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality rehabilitation services that help them regain function, independence, and quality of life.

Requirements: Must have a current OT, COTA, PT, PTA, or SLP license in the state of Nebraska. They will possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude and portray a positive image.
