Intake Coordinator

Location:Davenport, Iowa
Job Type:Full-time

Pay: $18.00 an hour
Schedule:40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community.This leadership role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and effectiveness of our rehabilitation program's intake process. You'll maintain admissions operations, coordinate outreach efforts, and provide comprehensive support to applicants, families, and community members while upholding the highest standards of our mission.

What You'll Do

Program Leadership & Coordination

  • Oversee daily intake operations and admissionsprocess
  • Supervise and support Intake Clerk
  • Maintain program integrity and bestpractices
  • Participate in data quality meetings with ARC Command
  • Coordinate with program staff and community partners

Intake Management & Assessment

  • Conduct comprehensive eligibilityassessments
  • Manage intake documentation and electronicrecords
  • Process admissions through referrals, phone calls, and walk-ins
  • Ensure compliance with program policies andprocedures
  • Complete and document intake testing procedures

Community Outreach & Statistics

  • Lead community outreach for recruitment and retention
  • Build relationships with referral agencies andstakeholders
  • Maintain current community resourcelistings
  • Gather and review center statisticaldata
  • Report daily center census and maintain accuraterecords

Documentation & Compliance

  • Oversee electronic recordsmanagement
  • Coordinate with external agencies (courts, probation, parole)
  • Manage medication documentation andhandoffs
  • Ensure accurate statistical data entry andreporting
  • Support 24/7 intake operations

What You Need

Required Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Supervisory experiencerequired
  • Computer literacyrequired
  • Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for TSAinsurance
  • Commitment to Christian principles
