Job Description

1st Choice is in search of a dynamic and passionate Remote Clinical Program Manager holding a LCSW to spearhead an assessment program tailored for Medicaid members. The role is pivotal in upholding service quality and standards through program assessment, team training, and regulator compliances.
We are looking for an individual with strong leadership abilities and clinical knowledge. This individual will champion our mission, vision, and values within the Assessment Program, demonstrating dedication to continuity by strategizing, executing, and appraising processes to fulfill client needs.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for strategic, fiscal, regulatory, and operational leadership of an assessment program serving Medicaid members in the state market.
  • Accountable for establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships as part of the contract's account management and vendor management functions.
  • Implement and oversee a comprehensive quality assurance program.
  • Ensure that program staff maintains up to date licensures and continue education to retain and enhance their skills and knowledge in their specific field.
  • Monitor program progress and performance indicators, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure program success.
  • Provide direct supervision to social worker assessors working in the field.
  • Identify available resources by routinely reviewing capacity, productivity, and workload to determine shared services needs to maximize revenue, engagement, and morale.

WORK SETTING AND HOURS:

  • This is a full-time, salaried position offering a flexible work arrangement with 80% remote work and 20% onsite presence. You'll primarily work from home but will be required onsite for training, observations, and client visits, with the potential for increased onsite presence based on program needs.
  • Despite the flexibility, you're expected to maintain a regular work schedule during core business hours Monday- Friday (8 am - 5 pm EST) to ensure availability for collaboration, meetings, and timely responses. While we encourage remote work, 1st Choice values a collaborative and supportive environment, so onsite engagement is crucial for fostering teamwork and connection.
     

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid LCSW in the state of practice, with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in healthcare settings.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a noncommercial, class C Maryland driver's license is required at appointment time.
  • All licenses and certifications must be maintained at current levels throughout employment.
  • MD LCSW C Supervision Certificate MANDATORY 

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of experience in program management or healthcare administration, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Direct supervisory experience with remote and field-based social worker assessors, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in program planning, budgeting, and evaluation, with a track record of successful program implementation and outcomes.
