To thrive as a Program Evaluator, you need strong analytical skills, experience in research methodology, and typically a background in social sciences or public policy. Familiarity with statistical analysis software (such as SPSS, R, or SAS) and data collection tools is essential, along with certifications like the American Evaluation Association's Credentialed Evaluator (CE). Being adaptable and proactive in problem-solving is key to overcoming obstacles and delivering meaningful results.
