Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead our initiatives in our Home and Community Based Services nonprofit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program development and management, particularly in working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role requires exceptional relationship management skills, administrative capabilities, and the ability to supervise and guide a team effectively. The Program Director will be responsible for ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of quality and compliance while fostering an environment of growth and support for both staff and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Manage daily operations of the program, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and manage program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and sustainability.
  • Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with social work professionals to integrate behavioral health services into program offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in program delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in program development and management within the HCBS field.
  • Strong background in social work or related disciplines.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse populations.
