THE TEAM
As a key member of the Talent & Culture Division, the Talent Development Manager supports the strategy and execution of learning, development, and people-related initiatives across Rosewood Calistoga. Reporting to the Director of Talent & Culture, this role partners closely with department leaders, operational teams, and the Executive Committee to support workforce readiness, associate engagement, and long-term talent development.
The Talent & Culture team serves as a trusted partner and culture champion for the property, helping to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent while fostering an inclusive, high-performing workplace aligned with Rosewood's values and philosophy of Relationship Hospitality.
YOUR ROLE
As Talent Development Manager, you will design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate learning and development initiatives that support the successful opening and ongoing operation of Rosewood Calistoga. You will ensure associates at every level receive meaningful learning experiences that strengthen guest service, operational excellence, leadership effectiveness, and associate engagement.
You will lead key programs including onboarding, compliance training, brand immersion, leadership development, departmental skills training, and succession planning. Working closely with operational leaders and the Executive Committee, you will help cultivate a high-performance culture while supporting workforce readiness and long-term talent development strategies.
This role is instrumental in creating an exceptional associate experience that supports both operational excellence and Rosewood's commitment to Relationship Hospitality.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE
  • Develop and execute the property's learning and development strategy, ensuring all initiatives align with business objectives, operational priorities, Rosewood culture, and brand standards.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify learning opportunities, create targeted development solutions, and establish meaningful learning pathways that support career growth and operational success.
  • Design, facilitate, and deliver engaging learning programs for associates, supervisors, managers, future leaders, and Executive Committee successors.
  • Lead Discovery and onboarding experiences that create a strong foundation for new associates while supporting retention, engagement, and long-term success.
  • Administer learning systems, compliance programs, training records, certifications, reporting, and dashboards that measure learning effectiveness and organizational readiness.
  • Champion associate engagement, recognition, communication, and culture-building initiatives that strengthen Rosewood Calistoga's workplace experience.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000 annually. This is the pay range for this position that the company reasonably expects to pay. This position also may be eligible for bonuses. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on several factors, such as experience, type of experience, location, and education.
