The DI& team needs a passionate person who is interested in and experienced with B2B recruitment, cultivation, and program management.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Creating and implementing sales strategies and identifying new markets to enter.
  • Conducting market research to identify new business development opportunities.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Work towards set sales and client recruitment targets and work diligently to meet them.
  • Coordinating and arranging client events, meetings, appointments, and conferences.
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations and pitches for prospective clients.
  • Writing and distributing agendas, proposals, cost estimates, and briefing documents for internal and external meetings.
  • Creating and maintaining client databases and mail lists.
  • Tracking submitted proposals and providing feedback to management.
  • Manage client programs for assigned client accounts.
  • Research new and more efficient ways of performing our work.
  • Providing effective administrative support.
  • Ensure all timelines proposed to clients are being met.
  • Study competition to find new ways to retain customers.
  • Make recommendations for new and better ways to manage programs internally.
  • Interact with clients via reports, emails, phone calls, etc. regarding digital advertising programs when appropriate and as needed.
  • Troubleshoot communications hardware, software, and configuration issues.
  • Maintain and follow required internal systems, file structures and storage, and naming guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed
  • Impeccable writing and copy-editing skills.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) with a focus on business, communications, political science, sociology, marketing, or women’s and gender studies.
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field
  • At least 3-4 years of professional B2B sales experience ideally in a service agency related environment.
  • Proven record of market research, client identification, recruitment, and management.
  • Experience with successful project design, implementation, and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement large-scale data communications environments.
  • Valid CA driver’s license and willingness to drive personal vehicle.
  • Spanish language verbal and/or writing proficiency strongly desired.
  • Experience with creative design, videography, video production, live production work, or political campaign is a plus
  • Currently contracted clients ready to sign with and agency is a plus

Compensation is based on experience and DI& is open to a flexible employment arrangement including remote work depending on the market. Digital Impact & currently has staff in San Diego, CA and Tucson, AZ.
