Job description

Schedule: Day shift

The Staff Pad is proud to be partnering with a reputed healthcare organization in Helena, MT and we are seeking to recruit a skilled and motivated Physical Therapy Supervisor for an Outpatient Sports Rehab team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role that blends hands-on patient care with meaningful supervisory and program development responsibilities in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Play a key leadership role by assisting the Department Director in the day-to-day operations of a dynamic outpatient physical therapy clinic
  • Maintain a balanced and rewarding role, with 75–85% dedicated to hands-on patient care and 15–25% focused on leadership and supervisory responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to outpatient Physical Therapists at their location
  • Lead regular one-to-one check-in meetings with PT staff and partner with the Department Director to complete annual performance evaluations for staff Physical Therapists
  • Facilitate team PT meetings in collaboration with the Director and delegate projects to staff as needed
  • Collaborate closely with the Director and PT Manager to design and implement outreach strategies that strengthen relationships with medical providers and the broader community
  • Promote strong collaboration between the PT teams and club management to enhance patient and member experience
  • Ensure consistent adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards by all staff
  • Serve as a positive, inspiring role model while partnering with leadership to advance service excellence and achieve quality outcomes
  • Participate in the recruitment process by assisting with PT candidate interviews and coordinate structured onboarding and orientation to ensure clinical competency and safety
  • Provide strategic input to the Director regarding long-term planning for physical therapy services, budgeting, program growth, and equipment needs
  • Meet bi-monthly with the Department Director to monitor budget, discuss short-term plans and address ongoing challenges
  • Serve as a primary liaison for PT students, coordinating clinical internships and observational learning experiences
  • Support timely resolution of operational and clinical issues to ensure productivity and workflow standards are consistently met
  • Encourage and supports staff in setting professional goals that advance clinical expertise and ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care 

What We Are Looking For:
Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and developing plans of care approved by attending physicians.
  • Experience in program development, staff supervision, and proven ability to market services effectively.
  • Strong background in delivering exceptional customer service.

Education:

  • Graduate of accredited school for Physical Therapy.

Licensures:

  • Licensed in the state of Montana as a Physical Therapist.
