Hagadone Media Montana, a family-owned company, is seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development professional to drive growth across Flathead County markets, including the Daily Inter Lake, Whitefish Pilot, Hungry Horse News, and Bigfork Eagle.

This role is about more than maintaining accounts. It is about finding new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. If you are ready to create impactful media strategies and close deals, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Meet monthly revenue targets through individual sales efforts and team collaboration. Drive new business development while retaining existing client relationships.
  • Client Engagement: Spend 70 to 75 percent of your time in client meetings or in the field prospecting for new business and maintaining key accounts.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to expand advertising channels, including digital, podcasts, newsletters, and other emerging media.
  • Sales Strategy: Work with the advertising director to launch initiatives that drive business development and overall sales growth.
  • Networking: Represent the company at community and business events, connecting with key stakeholders and local chambers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Customer Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with all accounts, guiding them through a consultative sales process to meet business needs and deliver results.
