Job description

This Isn't a Job. It's a Launch Pad.

Most roles ask you to show up, clock in, and execute. This one asks something different:Are you ready to lead?

Chick-fil-A Perry is seeking a driven, entrepreneurially-minded individual to join theEnrich Development Program (EDP)- a structured, two-year leadership development experience designed to rapidly elevate you from contributor to business leader. This is a hand-selected program with limited seats, built for someone who is hungry for real responsibility, craves mentorship, and is serious about launching a meaningful career. You won't be sitting in a classroom. You won't be watching from the sidelines. From day one, you will be learning the business from the ground up. Then leading it.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

The EDP is structured around four core leadership tracks that build progressively over two years:

Lead Yourself- Master personal effectiveness, emotional intelligence, strength-based leadership, and professional discipline. The best leaders lead themselves first.

Lead With Others- Build and lead a team. Set shared goals, establish culture, solve problems collaboratively, and grow real trust within a high-performing organization.

Lead Others- Develop people. Conduct one-on-ones, facilitate meetings, coach and train team members, and learn what it means to multiply your impact through others.

Lead the Business- Own real results. Set key business goals, manage operational systems and processes, contribute to HR, marketing, and recruiting strategy, and understand the financials that drive a successful enterprise.

A Program Built Around Your Growth

This program doesn't hand you a manual and wish you luck. Growth is intentional and supported at every stage:

  • Direct mentorship from the Owner/Operator- Regular 45-60 minute coaching sessions, one-on-one, outside the restaurant. This is rare access.
  • Curated leadership library- Books tied to program milestones, connecting leadership theory directly to what you're experiencing on the floor.
  • Bi-Monthly one-on-ones- Personalized training focused on operations, management, and leadership development.
  • Offsite leadership meetings- Strategic discussions with the Director team to align, decide, and grow the business together.
  • Quarterly life planning sessions- A unique investment in your whole person, not just your job performance.
  • Digital literacy and financial training- P&L management, labor and food cost leadership, sales forecasting, AI and automation tools, CRM marketing, and more.

The growth model is 70% on-the-job experience and 30% coached instruction - the same ratio professionals use to develop world-class skills.

You'll Have Access to a Bigger Stage

The EDP connects you to the broader Chick-fil-A network in ways most positions never will:

  • Travel opportunities with Chick-fil-A, Inc. across the country
  • Participation in Grand Openings and Company Owned Restaurant (COR) events nationwide
  • Exposure to Chick-fil-A, Inc. field talent and staff roles
  • Networking near Chick-fil-A's Support Center - one of the most respected brands in the country
  • WinShape Programs, Area Market events, and regional marketing opportunities

This program is intentionally designed tolaunch you- into Chick-fil-A's Leadership Development Program (LDP), the Training Director Program (TDP), an Operator path, a Chick-fil-A Inc. staff role, or a high-performing career in business leadership of your choosing.

Compensation & Benefits

We invest in the people we develop. Program participants receive:

  • Competitive pay
  • Scholarship opportunities
  • Professional attire stipend
  • Leadership development per diem
  • Phone stipend
  • "Fit to Lead" wellness stipend
  • Shake N Pay performance bonuses
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Sundays off
  • Free food privileges
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance opportunities
  • Healthiest You app network access

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who ishumble, hungry, and strong-minded- a person who wants to be challenged, is eager for meaningful development, and is ready to invest in others the way this program will invest in them.

  • Hold a degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or are within a handful semesters of completing one.
  • Have at least one year of leadership experience in a professional, athletic, academic, or organizational setting
  • Are ready to commit to a two-year employment and development journey
  • Can commit to up to three evening periods per week
  • Are curious, resourceful, and don't wait to be "shown" - you ask questions and try
  • Want to grow in emotional intelligence, business acumen, public speaking, and people leadership
  • Are motivated by challenge, not deterred by it
