Buckskin Hills Operator
Working under the supervision of the Buckskin Hills Manager, the Buckskin Hills Operator helps develop, maintain, promote, and present the Buckskin Hills Multi-Use Sports Complex. Key duties include operating heavy machinery (road grader, backhoe, trackhoe, dozer, water truck), snow removal and grooming equipment, and general power tools to support site infrastructure, the shooting range, and snow hill operations. The role also involves assisting with event setup, facility cleaning, daily usage monitoring, volunteer and staff coordination, safety compliance, and related administrative tasks.
Candidates must possess sufficient education and training to perform all related duties, along with at least two (2) years of experience operating and maintaining medium- to heavy-sized equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must hold or be able to acquire a valid Utah Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL), pass an ICC physical, maintain a current medical certificate, and strictly comply with all county policies and safety standards. Additionally, this position requires a non-traditional work schedule with mandatory evening, weekend, and holiday shifts driven by event needs. This includes regular weekend coverage (Excluding Sundays) every other week all year long.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $28.49 an hour depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being.
